Chris Beighton
Chris lives in Leicestershire, where he was
born, with his wife and two children, he has always had an appetite for
sport and a desire to compete at the highest level. During his school
years his desire to compete was fulfilled by swimming in local and
national tournaments. In his twenties Chris turned to water skiing,
during which time he won the British Senior Championships and captained the British Youth Squad.
Chris is the Managing Director of a Leicester based house
builder/property developer. The Company operates in the Midlands and builds over 600 new homes per year as well as a number of

Driver Profile
Despite being a car enthusiast it was not until September of 1998
Chris first took part in motor sport. In 1998 he entered the Manx
Challenge in a Sunbeam Tiger. The following year, 1999, again in a
Tiger he competed in the Aston Martin Anglo American Challenge going
on to win Class in 2000 and 2001 with the outright Championship win
2002. In 2003 Chris got his first taste of GT Racing with a Marcos
Mantis Cup Car. The car was campaigned with his racing Partner, Jon
Finnemore, in 2004, 2005 and 2006 in the British GT championship.
Whilst coming close to they never managed to win the championship
but many podiums and class wins. In 2007, Chris along with the team
focussed their attentions to the Fun Cup and purchased a Fun Cup car
in an effort to introduce Chris’ son Ben into Motorsport. Chris
looking forward to campaigning all of the teams’ cars including the
latest addition Lola T7111b chassis no. 148. Chris considers himself
very fortunate to have had the opportunity to compete in events such
as the Le Mans Classic and the Goodwood Revival. His ambition in
motor sport is quite simply to achieve his best potential.
Interests
Chris says he has a healthy interest for fast cars with a passion for
most sports. He is a regular visitor to the snow during the winter
months and enjoys taking on the various challenges that the sport of
skiing has to offer. He is a disciplined gym goer and enjoys keeping and
feeling fit.
